This home offers all of the luxuries you could want in a serene beach vacation, including a private pool (that can be heated for an additional fee) & courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a family dinner. There is a wine fridge & an additional icemaker to fill your ice chests for the beach. There is also an extra refrigerator in the laundry room. Two complimentary street-legal electric golf carts with your stay will get you quickly to the sugar-white sands of the Gulf of Mexico to explore the shores, a 4-seater & 6-seater, as well as 4 bikes with helmets. If you need additional golf carts available for rent at discounted prices for our guests.
The Pearl of Destiny vacation rental home is elegantly decorated & thoughtfully designed to offer the most privacy & enjoyment of the guests. The master bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed & a master bath complete with dual vanities, an oversized walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, & a soaring ceiling with a skylight. There is also a twin sleeper chair. Upstairs, you will find three spacious bedrooms, two of which feature balconies with stunning views of the pool. Two bedrooms have a king-size bed & the third is a bunk room, perfect for children! There is also a poolside guest house, which offers a master suite with a king-size bed, a luxury bathroom, & a beverage center with a mini fridge & coffee maker. Every bedroom has a flat-screen television. A ping pong table, games & puzzles provide some fun when not at the beach or out exploring Destin.
Destiny East is an exclusive gated community that offers several amenities, including a clubhouse, 2 neighborhood pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, a movie theater, tennis, basketball courts, a BBQ area with an outdoor kitchen, walking trails, & playground! The neighborhood is located on pedestrian and golf cart-friendly Scenic 98. So you can walk down to the beach to catch a sunset or take a relaxing bike ride. Only suggestion would be, only charge one cart at a time as both kept tripping the fuse. Our stay at Pearl of Destiny was a great family vacation. Our group had 3 kids and an infant with us and the house/pool was safe and family friendly. The home is a little dated but communication with the management company was very helpful and quick to respond (additional shower towels needed, AC Control). We requested a later check out time to accommodate our flight departure which they were also able to accommodate. The 2 golf carts made family beach days easy (and fun)! We enjoyed our stay.

This was easy check in and we got early check in. The house is beautiful . There are a few small things that need fixed but overall wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean . We absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful, had all the amenities we were looking for (kitchen was well stocked, contrary to previous reviews), and everything worked out perfectly for our family vacation. We made full use of the provided golf carts for our beach days, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that almost everything we needed for the beach (toys, chairs, umbrellas, sand carts, etc.) was already there in the garage. The pool was perfect for our grown kids and 2 year old granddaughter alike (the shallow area with the fountain makes a perfect splash area for a toddler), and the very spacious family room was perfect for gathering anytime we weren't on the beach or in the pool.<br/>Pricing seemed fair based on all our research, and we'd definitely return. 5 stars from our family!

Great space!
Our stay was amazing! We had 15 people total- 7 of which were children. The home itself had more space than expected and everyone was surprised at area of individual space/rooms/beds. However the best part was that there was large areas where we all could gather and spend time together. The house was located in a cul de sac on a quiet street. It was not far from the beach or from our favorite restaurant. The golf carts were great and provided a faster/easier/more fun way to get around.

There was plenty of room for all eleven of us! Plenty of sleeping space. And plenty of room to get to yourself when needed.

Better Than Expected
The pictures don’t do this home justice even though they look great. In person is even better. Absolutely loved everything except the toilet paper that was a step down from gas station TP as if that is possible. Otherwise we loved the spacious kitchen with its large fridge, two ovens, two sinks, two dishwashers and independent ice maker (super convenient). The living room is spacious and comfortable to relax and recover from a day at the beach. Also enjoyable was the whole house sound system. Loved this stay!

Wonderful Christmas!
Had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful. We added the heated pool to our booking and it was perfect for the cooler days. We had 4 generations under one roof with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a traditional family Christmas dinner and baking Christmas cookies. Never once with 11 people did we have to wait for a bathroom.

This vacation home was a great pick. Everyone enjoyed it. The family room was huge and spacious enough for our party of 14. The golf carts that were provided had good speed to them. Lots of beach gear in garage in case anyone forgot theirs. Pool was small but nice for its size. Community pool and park was great but be sure to have your bracelet on. Overall a great vacation and the management were very helpful. The people with xplorie for the activities were great also and very accommodating. It was well stocked with dishes. Only a couple suggestions to make it an even greater place. Locks for some of the doors such as bathrooms. Large parties it would be nice to have a lock to prevent walk ins. Blackout shades for the bedroom windows. Luggage racks on golf carts to help take beach back and forth. Two trash cans for trash pickup

Fantastic get away
We absolutely loved our time at Destin!
Pros: The house was beautiful. We had a few snags but all in all it was wonderful. The kids loved the pool! The location was fantastic. The men loved the grilling area. And us women were very impressed with the large kitchen. Highly recommend this home to any large group. It worked perfectly for our group. We would definitely go back.
Cons: The pool heater was out most of the time there (kids didn’t tell me till later) and I paid a decent amount to have it. There was some tree bugs in the house and silver fish. And when I went to grab a blanket out of the closet there was a metal bar on it (it was on top couldn’t see it there)that fell knocked me in the head making me bleed pretty good. And the gulf carts we had weren’t the best compared to the other homes. Ours were very slow and the parking didn’t work on one of them. And the lights were a bit annoying to work. Only other thing was no locks on any doors (bedroom or bathrooms).

This house was awesome for 16 people, eight adults and eight kids. The only thing that would have been better is if it would have been beachfront. There were two golf carts that enabled all of us to go to the beach and travel around the beach area without trouble. The kids used the pool unending!!

Since our family had not been able to "get away" from Pensacola, FL. since the beginning of June, the Pearl of Destiny in Destin, FL. was a place that we will never forget. It is such a bonus when a vacation destination is within 90 minutes of home and also makes one feel as though they were hundreds of miles away. The living area was something we will never forget in that it was relaxing and quite formal. The courtyard area by the pool was especially beautiful in the late morning/early afternoon when the warm Florida sun shone and one could relax in this intimate setting. We were especially fond of the availability of the staff who were always willing to answer any questions that we had. We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful rental.

Pearl of Destiny was the perfect home for our family vacation (15 guests - 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 6 children under the age of 5). Looking at pictures of houses prior to booking we were drawn to this house and its large open kitchen, dining and family room. This area was perfect for all of us to be eat, drink, play games and relax together. The use of the golf carts made getting to the beach, community pool, restaurants or just cruising scenic 98 a breeze. We got to the beach between 10-11 every morning and parking at the Crab Trap was never an issue. If you were walking to the beach it would be about a 10 minute walk. One concern we had prior to getting down there was the size of the pool for all the kids but it really turned out to be perfect size. All the little kids were able to wear themselves out and would have stayed in there all day if we had let them. All of the bedrooms were clean and plenty big enough. The kids room could not have worked out better for our family. The little kids slept 3 across on the bottom bunk with plenty of room while the older kids slept up top. We went to dinner at the Crab Trap (great food, close to the pearl of destiny and so easy to get to with the use of the golf carts). We also went to the Surf Hut at the recommendation of one of the neighborhood security officers. The food was great and the atmosphere was very family friendly. Both places are right on the beach and have things to do to keep the kids busy. On Thursday we went to Harry T's at the Harborwalk Village. All the boats going in and out kept the kids entertained. Again the food was great. After dinner on Thursday we stayed for fireworks which were a little disappointing as they only lasted 5 minutes. We used xplorie for golf and a fishing trip. It was easy to use and gave a great discount. This is a great home and we will certainly be back again!

We had a wonderful vacation with our extended family at the beautiful Pearl of Destiny. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for our group and our four grandkids loved being able to all sleep in one room in the cute four bunkbeds. It is such a kid friendly home with plenty of board games, a ping pong table, a large assortment of beach toys including sand toys, boogie boards, life jackets and floats. The pool was wonderful and allowed an escape from the beach. The two golf carts were a lifesaver for the trips to the beach and we even went to a couple nearby restaurants in them...all 12 of us! The house has beautiful beachy décor and was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the tennis courts, and playground. The weather did not allow us time to golf, maybe next time. We hope to return to Pearl of Destiny for our next Destin vacation!
